Second Trimester! Whoop whoop!
I'm finally in my 14th week and so excited to be beginning the second trimester of this pregnancy. As I've said before, I don't want to wish away this time in my life, but it's not particularly easy being exhausted/nauseous all the time. I'm so looking forward to getting back to (somewhat) normal and starting to show! I have a tiny baby bump right now, but I'm pretty sure the carbs had A LOT to do with that :)
Either way, I'm only about 6 weeks from the halfway mark! I feel like it's flown by so far! Our biggest decision right now is whether or not to find out the gender. I would love some feedback on this decision if anyone has an opinion :) We think it could be such a wonderful surprise to wait until his/her birthday to find out, but of course this makes buying clothes and decorating a nursery a bit harder. On the other hand, it would be really fun to have a gender reveal party!
We've gone back and forth and I think we're still leaning a little more towards having it be a surprise, but we'll see! I will be sure to announce our decision here and keep you all (if anyone is reading this haha) updated!
In other news, we announced our good news on Facebook the other day with this photo:
I LOVE how it turned out! I can't really take credit for the idea: it was my sister-in-law, Jessica who came up with it. But it's SO perfect! Anyway, it feels good to let everyone know!
