Feeling the Babe

Guys. The feeling of your baby moving inside of you is THE MOST AMAZING feeling! Nothing can top it or, at least, nothing has yet. I was lying on the couch and all of a sudden, little baby Thomas decided that he/she wanted to burrow on the left side of my belly. Like, my belly was lopsided: I could physically SEE where my baby was. I placed my hand over that spot and felt such a connection. It was incredible. I've heard from a few people that it's weird and alien-like, and if you feel that way that's ok, but for me, it was unbelievably beautiful.

At our last checkup, my midwife had to move the sonogram machine all around chasing the baby to hear the heartbeat :) He/she would barely stay still! I have a feeling he/she will be a handful, but I can't wait!
